When you choose to go vegan, there are a few of your favourite things (Maria got the list all wrong!) you wonder how you’ll manage without. For me it was ice-cream and chocolate.
Not anymore! Today, there are so many vegan chocolates conceived and manufactured in India, that you are truly, in a non-vegan world cliché, spoilt for choice! For the ones who love data, we’ve listed 140+ vegan chocolate options below.
This attempt is to list brands that have a range of vegan options, so you’ll spend more time deciding what to try than gobbling up the bar.
There are other Indian brands like Soklet, Kocoatrait, Naviluna, Bee Tee’s Melt and Toska that offer only a few scrumptious vegan bars, so we haven't featured them in the list below. (Come on brands, get on the vegan train!)
And a special mention to Amul Dark Chocolate which is, rather ironically, vegan and stood with us in the dark times before India’s vegan chocolate awakening.
