Canadian Premiere Of Documentary 'Slice Of Life'

After receiving international honours at the Kraków International Green Film Festival in Poland, and the Merit Award of Awareness from the Awareness Film Festival (LA), groundbreaking documentary Slice of Life announces Canadian Premiere in Vancouver, BC.

Featuring more than 25 change-makers, politicians, athletes, medical professionals, celebrities, and CEO's of the vegan movement, Slice of Life explores the growing popularity of plant-based food all around the world. Event organizers are placing an additional focus on inviting non-vegans to attend; those who are “ veg-curious” and even those who may be opposed to the lifestyle.

While other documentaries have explored health, environmental and moral issues of animal agriculture, this documentary focuses on the solutions to those problems by taking the audience on a journey into the world of plant-based meat, egg and dairy alternatives. It features a diverse group of experts in various fields from the U.S and  India, rarely seen in other documentaries.

Slice of Life highlights exclusive interviews with Ethan Brown (founder and CEO Beyond Meat), Actress and AR Activist Maggie Q, Dr. Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, and an additional 20+ featured guests.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion, featuring an expert group of vegan medical practitioners, marketing experts, wellness educators, and chefs.

Proceeds from ticket sales for this event will be directed to Home for Hooves Sanctuary, and Rasta Animal Sanctuary. Both of these organizations provide forever homes for abandoned and rescued farm animals.
