Billie Eilish has been quite busy for some time now. After successfully working with Nike to release Air Jordan 15 created with sustainability in mind and then releasing her first-ever vegan perfume named Eilish, Billie is now all set to launch her first-ever vegan milk chocolate. The vegan milk chocolate is named after her recent album ‘Happier Than Ever and is vegan, kosher, and comes in 100% degradable packaging.

THE NEWEST RELEASE ON HER WEBSITE

The 19-year-old pop singer has been a vegan for several years now and is vocal about it, asking her fans to be one for the planet. Of the newest of the merch released on her website, the Happier Than Ever vegan milk chocolate is one. It is currently available only in the United States, and the first batch is believed to be a limited edition and is available only on pre-order.

A SUSTAINABLE CHOCOLATE

The chocolate is wrapped in compostable foil and is packed in a cardboard box which is eco-friendly and is a great sustainable packaging option. The bar has 37% cacao and is Rainforest Alliance certified, organic, and is made in a factory in Germany. Along with the launch of the chocolate, the website also features a recipe for mini vegan milk chocolate buckeyes by Eilish herself.

HERE'S WHAT THE CHOCOLATE IS MADE OF

The 37% milk chocolate bar is organic and is completely vegan. It has ingredients like tiger nut powder, powdered rice milk, cane sugar, chocolate liqueur, hazelnut, bourbon vanilla extract, and sea salt. The chocolate is available only on pre-order on her website and is priced at $10 plus shipping.

VOCAL AND VEGAN

Eilish has always been vocal about veganism and has many times taken her Instagram to handle to boldly write about it. One of her posts about factory farming comes with a bold statement, “If you can watch the videos I just posted and don’t care, it’s you who are contributing by literally eating the creatures that are being completely tortured just for your enjoyment, I’m sorry for you.” She further added, “I understand meat tastes good… and I know you think you’re just one person, and it won’t make a difference if you stop, but it’s ignorant and stupid.”

Throughout the pandemic, Eilish also volunteered with her mother, Maggie Baird’s nonprofit Support + Feed. Through her volunteering, she brought plant-based food accessible and available to those in need and has actively supported struggling vegan restaurants.

Also, in 2019, she collaborated with vegan actor Woody Harrelson and released a video encouraging fans to choose vegan to fight climate change.
