British Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay took to his Twitter handle to announce that his restaurants have rolled out a special vegan menu for Veganuary!

Veganuary is a charity that encourages people to try a vegan lifestyle in the month of January - and this time, the Hell's Kitchen bad boy is on board!

Ramsay, a blunt critic of vegan and plant-based diets Tweeted this on January 7th:

“Oh lord it's happened... we're giving #veganuary a go this year”

This came as shocking news to his fans and vegans around the world who couldn't have imagined the pro-meat chef to make such an announcement even in their wildest dreams!

Vegan fans are excited by the Veganuary announcement while many fans are jokingly slamming the star chef, saying they will “never forgive” him.

The London branches of Ramsay’s restaurants, Bread Street Kitchen and Heddon Street Kitchen will be serving the special plant-based menu until February 13.

That said, his Tweet has only boosted the rising popularity of Veganuary which saw a record number of 2,00,000+ sign-ups this year.
