New Vegan Cafe 'The Green Mowgli' Set To Open In Chennai Post Lockdown
Mahima Thangappan and Dhaval Chandarana are all ready to start a new vegan restaurant called 'The Green Mowgli' in Chennai. This 100% plant-based restaurant will open in Besant Nagar in the building next to Earth Story Natural- Chennai's first vegan store.
'The Green Mowgli' will serve easy and healthy vegan food like smoothies, smoothie bowls, sandwiches salads and more. The cafe will open on the 20th of May.
With their talents and knowledge of the space, this duo is sure to surprise us with some delicious food and service. A vegetarian chef, Mahima has been working as a consultant for several cafes and restaurants. Opening a vegan eatery came to her naturally.
According to Dhaval, "Chennai needs an all vegan cafe for Easy, healthy and affordable vegan food. There are no places for us to have cheese toasts, hot chocolates etc. We thought why not start it!
Indeed necessity is the mother of all inventions! The post Covid-19 world needs to have more healthy plant-based restaurants and this is welcome news!
