Climate Activist Aakash Ranison Releases New Book On The Climate Crisis

Climate change is a pressing issue that the world is facing right now. In this scenario, it is necessary for the larger public to have discussions about the topic and do their personal best to reduce their carbon footprint.

However, conversations about climate change are usually incomplete due to lack of awareness or a difficulty to understand it. To solve this common hindrance to constructive conversations about the issue, Aakash Ranison, climate activist and blogger, has released a book called Climate Change Explained - For One And All.

Aakash wishes to bring the conversation regarding climate change to the forefront among the general Indian population. He believes that understanding the issue is necessary to solve it. The book is an attempt to educate people about climate change, its causes, consequences and solutions in a simplified manner.

ABOUT THE BOOK

The book is worded in an easy-to-understand way, with lesser emphasis on text and more on visuals. Aakash does not use tedious scientific terminology and keeps it simple, so that even a child could understand it.

The book is only 50 pages long, filled with elaborate illustrations and infographics to make it engaging. The author takes instances from daily life to portray the issue, and the design of the book is aimed at making it an interesting and easy read.

The book is launching on 22 April 2021 and will be available free of charge on climateaction.aakashranison.com  It will also be available on Amazon, iBooks, Google from 10th May 2021 for Rs.20. The proceeds from the sales will be donated to Spiti Ecosphere for their climate change drive.
