Plant-based Personal Care Brand The Switch Fix Gets Seed Funding

On 22nd June 2021, Major Investor such as Venture Catalysts, 9Unicorns, and Kushal Khandwala, Director of KIFS Group, declared a seed investment of $145,000 in Gurugram-based personal care brand "The Switch Fix", which intends to market plant-based products that are sustainable and eco-friendly.

The Switch Fix plans to allocate the funds towards expansion of its existing clean and conscious product range. The rise in demand for plant-based and sustainable product has bolstered the already prevalent idea of ethical consumerism. More and more people wish to know the values and the story of any brand rather than just engage in mere transactional sale. And brands like The Switch Fix work to make a difference in the personal care market, which has largely been plagued with animal derived products and the cruel practices of Animal testing.

The company's wishes to extend its product range to products such as soaps, shampoo bars, hair blends, and bamboo toothbrushes, apart from their existing products which cover conditioners, scalp treatments, hair serums and essential skincare. The Switch Fix had recently collaborated with GoodMylk to launch a Vegan Shampoo Bar. The seed funding will allow the company to finally level up its product range at a much faster rate and ensure that conscious personal care products are not just more accessible but are also more appealing to people.
