The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Government of India, has very actively been promoting the many benefits of a plant-based diet via various offline and online channels like newspaper ads and their social media channels since some months now. This is a part of the 'Eat Right India' campaign initiated by FSSAI in July 2018.
As per their website, "The 'Eat Right India' campaign is built on the two broad pillars of 'Eat Healthy' and Eat Safe'. It aims to engage, excite and enable citizens to improve their health and well-being. It's a collective effort to make both – demand- and supply-side interventions through the engagement of key stakeholders."

They have been raising nutritional awareness by means of pictorial and informational graphics regarding plant-based sources of nutrients like calcium, iron; benefits of a plant-based diet and more.
Being promoted by the government in public interest has high impact! What are your views? Tell us in thecomments!
