Vegan First Participates as Official Category Partner at Global Youth Festival 2025

Vegan First was proud to be the official Category Partner at the Global Youth Festival (GYF) 2025. It was a first-of-its-kind event in Mumbai held at Jio World Garden, Bandra Kurla Complex from December 6-7, 2025. GYF was the brainchild of Gurudev, also known as Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji, who is the founder of Shrimad Rajachandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD). 

The event was special as Gurudevji recently embarked on his personal vegan journey which has inspired many of his followers to walk on his path and try out the plant-based lifestyle. 

Vegan First did this in partnership with the wonderful team at D Navinchandra Jewels. Both the teams ensured that with activities, games, experiences and product displays, attendees had a great time. They got an essence of vegan alternatives in food, fashion and beauty products among top retail categories.

About the response at GYF, Puneet Mehta, Partner and CEO at D Navinchandra Jewels, said - 

“This was a wonderful experience and a great opportunity to create awareness about veganism amongst so many people.”

Adding to that, the founder of Vegan First, Palak Mehta said - 

“It was lovely to see how at such events, people are more open-minded. Compassion as a lifestyle is deeply ingrained in our culture. So it was great to connect with an audience which is already receptive to compassion towards animals.”

Our journey can only go upwards from here as vegan values take over Mumbai, India and the rest of the world.
